Since 2004 there has been increased output of energy from renewable sources. These include wind, solar, thermal, wood fuels, landfill gas, biogenic, solid waste, biomass, geothermal, and hydroelectric. The mass consumption of fossil fuels is turning into a race against time, but the rapid increase of renewable resource energy is encouraging. Innovation and investment will be key to further success.
