When it comes to filing taxes, Americans don't plan to procrastinate, but they do so nevertheless. According to a recent YouGov poll, a plurality of Americans expect to have their tax returns filed by February, and very few people plan to wait until the last minute to complete their taxes. Despite that, however, one in four Americans ultimately wait to file until April.
