Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transsexual Americans above the age of 55 are slightly more likely to report identifying as highly religious than as not religious. 18 - 34 year old LGBT Americans, however, are developing a very different trend: they are 3 times more likely to report identifying as not religious than as highly religious.
I think this graph would actually correlate closely with the general American public. I think in the last decade the face of religion has changed dramatically, which is amazing to watch in my opinion. Years ago being an atheist was so taboo!
This graph is cool. It shows that around 1.35 million people changed their religious outlook to none over the course of 5 years.
