These 13 states have all increased their minimum wage. As a result, the employment rate is up in all those states by an average change of .99% compared to the first 5 months in 2013, which saw an average change of .68%. 12 out of 13 saw employment increase. Nine out of 13 saw growth beyond the national median rate.
