The heritage foundation is distrustful when it comes to its study's and findings being that it was created and funded by the koch brothers to spread disinformation.
I would have thought defense spending accounted for a higher percentage. As far as distrust of the heritage foundation goes...most organizations if this sort seem to receive partisan funding. I believe that is why it is important to look at and consolidate data coming from opposing partisan groups.
