Following the death of Antonin Scalia, the Supreme Court was thrown into disarray as Republicans and Democrats alike fight to secure a nomination that would be politically beneficial. Recently, the Obama Administration nominated Merrick Garland, a moderate yet left-leaning judge, to fill the seat of the boisterous conservative Scalia. While most Republicans oppose the nomination, the majority of the American people aren't on their side. Nearly half of all Americans support Garland's nomination.
