For many citizens, as well as some Republican voters, Donald Trump and his success have been rather enigmatic. How does one characterize a candidate that breaks all traditional political norms? According to a recent YouGov study, the majority of Republican primary voters describe Trump as bold, strong, and a Washington outsider. Interestingly, very few primary voters identified Trump as a typical politician, religious, or an establishment candidate.

Bold was the closest choice to buffoon. These poll results were predetermined based on the options presented.

Agree Adam. What would the results be if the options included liar, bombast, ego-maniac, dangerous, out-of-touch, etc. Though I guess we can draw some limited conclusions by the fact that fewer than 50% describe him as effective, in touch or honest.
