Since assuming the position of Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan has faced a number of challenges, one of which being his steeply declining popularity. Republicans are quickly cooling toward Ryan as the percent of Republicans that hold a favorable view of him has dropped a whopping 24 points in two months. Nevertheless, Ryan remains substantially more popular than his predecessor, John Boehner, who had a favorability rating of only 35%.
