It's certainly no secret that Americans place a great deal of value on sports. What may be surprising, however, is just how much money the sports teams are collectively worth. Combining the total monetary value of the four largest sports organizations - the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL - we find that the collective valuation of America's most popular sports is just under 150 billion dollars.
