Following the death of Freddie Grey, a young black man seemingly killed at the hands of the Baltimore police, the entire city erupted in riots. The subsequent violence left many people asking: "Do these riots solve anything?" According to a recent YouGov poll, Americans are deeply divided over the issue. Nearly equal segments of the public hold opposite opinions when asked if they agree that the plight of African Americans is heard only when the black community resorts to violence.
