(Data from 2009) This chart is part of a continuing series on the demographic breakdown of government employees. It is for a Social Policy project at school and this program is a lifesaver. The data indicates that while women working part-time for the government are only half that of their male, racial counterparts. However, blacks, both male and female have very similar rates of part-time government employment. Any suggestions why this might be the case?
