Americans were asked to judge where they think other Americans stand on abortion, and then to state their own views. Americans perceived that 56% of Democrats and 43% of Republicans would be pro-choice. However, the parties were more polarized than expected, as the actual percentage of Democrats who were pro-choice was 62%, while only 26% of Republicans were pro-choice.
This one surprised me, great chart.
