Those aged 18-29 gather their news from traditional sources far less than the population as a whole. Instead, young adults utilize Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking for news, a trend that has increased tenfold in the last four years. Nearly a third of those younger than 25 said they did not get news at all the prior day.
