Social media networking isn't as egocentric as many claim it to be. A recent study revealed that two-thirds of social networkers listen to and read what others have to say rather than express their own opinions ("passive"). For business, passive social networking = keeping current interest in your offerings; active social networking = seeking out new interested parties.
