On 7/23/13, of major cable news networks' (CNN, MSNBC, FOX News, FBC, HLN, Current) news coverage, there were just two mentions of the FBI investigation into donations to Virginia governor, Bob McDonnell, totalling over $120,000. Tuesday, McDonnell addressed the public on the scandal. Wiener, neither a public official, nor accused of any legal wrongdoing, received over 90 mentions.
