Despite their conception of an ideal marriage - a dual-income household with shared childrearing/childkeeping responsibilities - young adults are most likely to have these responsibilities separated in the traditional model of a breadwinner husband and homemaker wife. This is attributed to young adults having younger children, which require more time to raise on a daily basis.
