Among developed countries, the United States falls far behind in the percentage of its population that considers homosexuality to be either morally acceptable or "not a moral issue." The US does not rank 7th on this list as the graph suggests; it has been included for purposes of comparison. The American adult population, however, does support homosexuality at rates comfortably over 50%.
