A study done in the U.K. assigned different harm scores to a variety of drugs based on the damage they do to the individual using them as well as the damage it does to others and society as a whole. Alcohol tops the list with a rating of 72. Although drugs such as meth are obviously dangerous, the harm inflicted by these drugs are much more isolated to the individual using them. Mushrooms received the lowest rating at 6, and marijuana performs pretty well compared to other well-known drugs.
