Technology is advancing at an ever-accelerating rate, and for many Americans, the possibilities of future technology are ambitious to say the least. A third of those surveyed believed that, in the next fifty years, humans will be so advanced as to have developed long term space colonies. What's more, nearly 40 percent believe that teleportation will be possible.
