When it comes to who marries into the family, Americans have pretty strong feelings about religion. Interestingly, just 9% of Americans would be unhappy if an immediate family member married a born-again Christian, but 51% would be unhappy about an atheist. For consistently conservative folks, a whopping 73% would be unhappy with an atheist marrying in to the family.
