When it comes to the sale of arms, one country stands above the rest. According to a study by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), more weapons are sold in the United States alone than the rest of the world combined. America comprises a whopping 54.4% of all global arms sales, and no other nation even comes close to that large of a share. The UK is the second largest market, comprising 10.4% of the global share.
