Abortion-related deaths are exponentially more common in nations with the most restrictive abortion laws. Compared to less restrictive nations, over 30x the number of women die from abortions. Republicans in numerous state legislatures are passing "safe-abortion" (TRAP) laws, like Texas', which requires 88% of the state's abortion-clinics to shutdown. This really begs the question: which side is truly pro-life?
Saving life has nothing to do with it. Pro-life is a funny misnomer that creates a false dichotomy between those who want the government to prohibit abortion and those who do not think it is the government's role to make such a private decision for a woman. The title obviously suggests that their opponents are against life, perhaps pro-death. Regardless, I'm glad to see concrete evidence on the subject. I think it would be interesting to find data or information that gives this a causal relationship.
