According to UN statistics, there is an estimated US $31.6 billion of global profits generated from the exploitation of all trafficked forced labor. $15.5 billion (49%) of these profits are generated in industrialized economies, despite industrialized countries only accounting for 10.8% of all trafficked forced labor (source 2).
