The proposed Keystone XL pipeline has the potential to create 1,950 jobs and pump $3.4 billion into the US economy. Although support for construction is strong, opposition has been expanding. A final decision may be made in the coming months following Obama's recent statement that 2014 will be, "a year of action."
The Congressional Connection Poll cited is based on a survey of 1,006 adults. The Rasmussen Poll is based on a survey of 1,000 people. The FOX News poll was 1,110 voters. In the Washington Post article, one of the statistics stated is how 1.5 million people made comments on the final EIS. "Many of them oppose it." With that said, I feel like this chart is misrepresentative of the issue at hand.
