These percentages show that reading in America really isn't popular - people don't often engage with books. However, people who never read after they complete their education may find common reading tasks more difficult in their daily life. Even if it's not important to read the Lord of the Rings series, it definitely should be a priority to be able to read and understand a prescription label.
