For over a decade, Social Sciences has been the leading field of study for American students studying abroad. Business & Management has increased, making up a fifth of US students abroad in 2011. Together with Humanities, these constitute over half of such students, a stark contrast with foreign students studying in America, of whom biological sciences majors equal roughly 40%.
