Four out of the top five total earmark spenders are Democrats. In addition, Democrat Jim Moran ranked second in top House spenders on earmarks to contributors. (This refers to the cost of earmarks that the member has sponsored or co-sponsored for an organization from which he or she received contributions.)
They ALL do it but prob dems are the worst from what I have seen.
The problem is it is OUR $$$.
A favor to yourself: see The Law by Frederic Bastiat, a brief essay/book also available on You tube in 10 min. increments ; part 1/9 etc.
Amazing read and audio. Should be BASIC to ever GRADE School civics class. Easy read/listen! A classic as solid on government /econ 150 yrs. Ago as it is today.
Learn how to take back all now SIX levels of government! Find out there is NO difference. Take a class from www.CenterForSelfGovernance.c… in one of 18 states near you. This is the MOST important training I have had since Medical School and Residency!
I agree that the total earmark expenditure in this chart shows that we have a problem with how our congress members are spending their efforts and money. But how can we change this fact if there will always be the incentive to spend on local projects? -- They want to be reelected.
