Neighborhood streets are for living, not for driving. And yes we have to drive through them sometimes, but do we ever really need to go faster than 20 mph? No. We don't. Especially given that driving just 10 mph faster multiplies the risk to pedestrians ninefold. Leave some extra time, put down the cell phone, and slow down!
