Blacks are over-represented by over 200% when comparing the percent executed and their percentage in the population. They are the only group that is disproportionately represented in this manner. Whites had a 7 point difference between having 63% of population and making up only 56% of executions. Do we really believe that blacks commit a disproportionate amount of executable offenses?
