Currently the 113th Congress is the most diverse ever, yet 82% is white and 81% is male. Of the nine Supreme Court Justices currently serving, two are non-white: Sonia Sotomayor and Clarence Thomas. Three are women: Ginsburg, Kagan and Sotomayor. Women and people of color make up 10% each of the current state governors.
