2012 support for the DREAM Act was solid, with 69% strongly/not-so-strongly in favor. The Act would apply to those who: came to the US illegally before 16, are between 14-31 upon the legislation's enactment, are in the country for at least five years, are enrolled in/completed high school (or military duty/honorable discharge), and have no felony convictions or significant/multiple misdemeanors.
