From the data, unemployment spiked in 2009 and 2010; the two years after Bush left office. This could be expected in the aftermath of an administration with such poor fiscal policies. While Obama receives a lot of heat for the condition of our nation's economy, the data is undeniable. The last four years have shown a great decline in unemployment.
