The stigma against homosexuals in many aspects of public life have taken a remarkable 180 turn in a relatively short period of time. Looking at the very recent past, Americans saying they would be less inclined to vote for a homosexual presidential candidate dropped 19 percentage points since 2007, falling to a rate of 27% in 2014.
