A fatal plane crash on November 17th is the latest disaster for the Russian aviation industry. In a small airport in Kazan Russia, a 747 nosedived into the tarmac and exploded on impact, killing 50 people. Russia has had a notorious reputation for unsafe air travel dating back to before the cold war.
