When it comes to hogging up bandwidth, the internet's biggest video streamers are to blame. According to a recent study done by Sandvine, a whopping 70% of all "downstream" bandwidth (bandwidth going from providers to consumers) was utilized to stream videos. Netflix and YouTube are the two biggest culprits, collectively utilizing the majority of internet bandwidth during peak traffic times in North America.
