While over the last decade and a half, a larger percentage of Americans have identified themselves as socially conservative as compared to socially liberal, things are beginning to change. Social liberalism is on the rise in the United States, with 2015 being the first year that an equal percentage of Americans identified as socially liberal and conservative.
