According to a recent Pew Research study, the future spells success for the atheists and disaster for the Christians. By the year 2050, almost 70 million people from around the world will have left the fold of the Christian religion, while about 60 million will have adopted atheism as their belief system. Nearly all other religions will remain fairly constant in terms of conversion, however.
I am a bit confused on this. I heard on NPR on 4/3 a Pew report that said Muslims would increase significantly. Reason given was birth rate in Africa.
