"The Church has no authority... to confer priestly ordination on women" (Pope John Paul II--Ordinatio-Sacerdotalis), referencing Jesus' selection of only men as his apostles. This is "founded on the written Word of God" (Benedict-XVI). 'Separate, but equal' or 'we are all one in the eyes of the Lord'... which one sounds like the Word of your God?
