Since 2011, Americans' approval of Congress has remained almost exclusively below 20%. 59% of Americans blame partisanship for congressional ineffectiveness. Majorities of both Democrats (65%) and Republicans (54%) cite this as the reason for their disapproval. A new bipartisan coalition of Congress members, No Labels, is working to get past this partisan gridlock, and get Congress back to work.
