The disparity of wealth in the United States and around the world is increasingly becoming more extreme. Many Americans propagate the theory of inefficient and malevolent government. When asked how involved the government should get in addressing the problem, nearly 7 in 10 Americans said "some" or "a lot." Furthermore, when asked what the government can do to actually solve the issue, well over 50% responded that the government can do at least "some," with a plurality of 38% saying that it can do "a lot."
