Among the more educated individuals in society, trust in most institutions is rather sparse. According to a recent study by the Edelman Trust Barometer of over 6,000 adults across 27 nations, NGOs are the most trusted institution. But that isn't saying much. Only about six out of every ten college educated people have faith in the people and goals of nongovernmental organizations.
