Only 1 conviction has occurred for a police related fatality since 1999. Only 3 were indicted out of a total of 179 police-related fatalities. This means only .01675978% of police-shootings go to trial and only .00558659% of police have been convicted. It shows that 96% of all police officers never even get indicted.
It's easy to look at this and be upset. This is why our police forces need body cams - so there can be no doubt about what happened. We could clear the good cops, and find the bad ones.
