A flight attendant once told me that passengers got angrier over flight delays than turbulence. So people are more afraid of being late than they are of dying. Chillax everyone. The entertainment you hold in the palm of your hand is more than the average person experienced in a decade just a few short years ago. So let's all get back to worrying about something that makes sense - like was that noise from the wing normal?
I'm not bothered by delayed or canceled flights as much as I'm bothered by the extreme rudeness of airline staff in those situations. They never apologize, and they treat you like an inconvenience.
