Only 13% of Americans believed that lawyers contributed "a lot" to the well-being of society, with journalists and business executives also falling behind 'non-productive' career paths such as artists and clergy.

Journalists and artists are our speakers of truth. It is a shame that we don't hold these in higher regard. I wonder if journalists numbers would be higher if we separated the writers from the TV arguetainers.
