The level of trust for major news network have been falling over the last decade. Organizations such as MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News have been under much criticism for their blatant attacks on politicians and biased reporting. 14 percent of viewers reported that they trust CNN and 18.4 percent say they trust FOX. News is changing to trustworthy sources through forms of social media and reputation.
This struck me as pretty low, so I looked at the source. It seems that 4.4% is not the percent of Americans who trust MSNBC at all, but the percent of people who think it is the "most trustworthy" from a list of options. 18.4% said Fox news was the "most trustworthy" -- and that's the highest one. That doesn't mean only 18.4% trust fox news, and 81.6% do not trust it.
