Those believing women in the military is a good thing outnumber those believing the opposite by 3 to 1. As opinion becomes more favorable, perhaps we will see more women willing to join the armed forces as well.
I think another important variable when it comes to women joining the military is the prevalence of sexual assault and the fear that the chain of command structure will not allow them to report it or see justice done.
