Interestingly, firing squads are not offered in any state as an option to the inmates (Oklahoma allows firing squads if lethal injection and electrocution are deemed unconstitutional). All of the other methods can be found in at least one state. Further, being allowed to choose how you die raises the question: Does that last act of freedom have value?
