The landscape of American media has changed dramatically over the last few years. While the amount of time Americans spend consuming mobile media has skyrocketed, printed media may very well be facing its demise.

I researched this exact topic for my English class. I research how technology change from the 1950's to the 1980's and then from the 1980's to the present day. It was fascinating to see how technology has evolved throughout the years. You are very correct, print media is facing a demise. Print media's numbers are falling now that newspapers use the internet to share their news. Books are also declining because of the invention of the kindle and all the books you can read online and through tablets.
