When you are the president of the United States, having an ivy league education is about as commonplace as an American flag lapel pin. However, according to a recent Pew survey, a majority of Americans don't really care. Even amongst political party lines, there isn't much deference given to presidents with prestigious educational backgrounds (27% Democrats support it; 11% Republicans).
