A 2012 study of recent college graduates (defined as those aged 22 to 27 with a bachelor’s degree or higher) found that 44% were working jobs that did not require a college degree. Whereas grads could once find work in well-paid technical professions as electricians or dental hygienists, "Now they are more likely to be waiters, bartenders or cashiers."
